Our first project will be introducing the class to your family! Each student will be required to present a poster with pictures of their family members, and pets (if they have any). Each family has a different background, so we want to get to know yours!
Let's Talk Germs
Teaching children about germs is imperative so, let’s learn about germs! In this segment of our class, we will be reading books and learning about germs in different ways. We will be learning how to communicate while being sick and how to not pass along the common cold. Our main focus will be our hands, seeing at this age children like to share their toys with their classmates the hands are a main focus in passing germs. At this time each student will need to provide their own small bottle of hand sanitizer so that they can inform they family and friends at home about the dangers of germs!
Bible Story
Our Bible story projects will be worked on in class, and supplies will be provided for the students. This project is a reflection on the story the students learned over the course of two weeks. This will be graded easier than the other projects because everyone receives different key points in stories told.
Other projects
As the school year progresses, we will learn about a new topic each month for our projects. The other topics include Easter, Christmas, Inventions, Science, Fossils, Different Cultures, and Going Green. I plan on teaching the children something new with each and every project. My goal is to inform them of all the wonderful things that God has created for us on this planet and to treat them all with kindness.
